MEET THE TEAM

BEHIND TEAM COACHING STUDIO

Georgina Woudstra, Founder of Team Coaching Studio

Georgina Woudstra

MCC, ACTC, Team Coaching Supervisor

Founder & CEO

  • Georgina has been at the forefront of team coaching since the early 1990s, when she realised that teams and not individual leaders are the key to lasting organisational change.

Research shows 8 out of 10 teams fail to work together effectively, meaning organisations haemorrhage talent and value.

Classic team facilitation can't solve this. Sustainable transformation only comes when coaches work 'emergently': tapping into a group's potential in real time, even as the heat rises.

Georgina spent years honing this approach as an in-house team coach before founding Team Coaching Studio in 2017.

In 2022, she became one of the first coaches worldwide to earn the ICF's Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC).

Before coaching, Georgina built several cutting-edge businesses. She knows how rewarding and demanding it is to run your own practice. That's why she created these programmes, wrote "Mastering the Art of Team Coaching," and built a global community: to give you the tools and support you need to thrive in the fastest-growing discipline in the coaching world.

Allard De Jong, Team Coaching Supervisor

Allard De Jong

PCC, ACTC, Team Coaching Supervisor

Senior Director

  • Allard spent the first decade of his career in advertising and marketing, managing global campaigns for Ford, Holiday Inn, and Jeep.

During this time, Allared realised what he was really good at was helping people rather than products become successful.

His transition into professional coaching was marked by intense study and a role as Director of Training for CoachVille in Spain.

Since 2001, he's worked with executives at McDonald's, Philip Morris, Airbus, Warner Brothers, Procter & Gamble and many more, logging thousands of coaching and training hours.

Allard's work focuses on leadership development in large organisations, particularly emotional intelligence rather than functional skills.

His cross-cultural background and languages have taken him to all five continents, from Asia Pacific to Africa.

He's guided by three beliefs: that there's a core of noble, positive potential in every person with the power to change their own world; that over time those changes add up to the ability to change the whole world; and that corporations are in a unique position to lead that change.

Emily Jones, Course Leader

Emily Jones

PCC

Course Leader

  • Before discovering coaching, Emily spent years at senior leadership level providing careers advice to more than 23,000 prisoners across the UK.

The impact coaching had on her both personally and professionally was so transformational that she decided to train as a coach at postgraduate level.

Initially focusing on executive and leadership coaching, Emily quickly became fascinated by the impact coaching could have on teams.

She's been coaching teams for several years now and finds real delight in helping them discover how they can become more effective and impactful.

Emily's sweet spot is bringing a sense of joy and fulfilment to the workplace. She's energised by working with decision-makers who can change things for the better and drive positive culture particularly in teams and organisations that make a difference on a human level.

She co-created and delivers our Foundations of Emergence programme at Team Coaching Studio.

Emily lives in Nottingham with her husband Guy and five tortoises. She's a keen runner who's completed several marathons despite swearing she never would, and friends describe her as a natural optimist who sees the best in people and situations.

Dr Sebastian Fox

ACTC

Head of Research

  • Dr Sebastian Fox is a practising team coach and published researcher whose thesis, "How Teams Find Their Coaching to Be Productive," demonstrates how emergent team coaching generates the greatest impact for teams.

It provides the first rigorous academic evidence for what experienced coaches have long known intuitively but not always been able to clearly explain to clients.

Seb started his career in large corporates across finance, sales and client management in the UK, Europe and Asia, before becoming marketing and business development director for a large law firm.

He set up his own business more than 15 years ago, working with professional firms to improve client relationships. This work revealed that gathering client feedback alone doesn't effect change. The key is focusing on individuals and teams to shift behaviours and deliver what clients need.

With 40 years of business experience, Seb works with leadership teams and business development professionals to improve their performance.

Drawing on his own experience working in and with teams internationally, he works emergently to help team members make meaning from what's present around their relationships, processes and tasks.

Seb is Head of Research at Team Coaching Studio and Lead for the EMCC UK Team Coaching Special Interest Group.

He was the energy behind creating the TCS Community the first community for team coaches and co-created and delivers the TCS Foundations of Emergence in Team Coaching programme.

He has published several articles on team coaching and is married with two grown children.

He's been part of the leadership team of Ethical Coach, bringing pro bono coaching to NGOs to improve their capacity in supporting communities.

Mary Morand, TCS North America

Mary Morand

PCC, Team Coaching Supervisor

TCS North America

  • Mary spent her career in sales, performance consulting, leadership development and talent management.

The common theme across her work has always been leveraging what's working well and shifting what's getting in the way. She says coaching is what she’s loved most.

After 25 years in financial services, Mary moved to a consulting role in executive search and set up her own coaching practice.

Pulling on her early work, Mary helps teams create the right conditions for their own effectiveness and improved performance. This intersection of individual capability and team effectiveness is where sustainable change happens.

Mary was integral in the set up of our TCS North America team and is pivotal in co-hosting our online Diploma programmes and group supervision sessions. She can often be found hosting Clinics in the Team Coaching Community.

She lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with her husband. They've raised three children who have brought both heartache and joy — all part of family life, and for that they're grateful.

Mary loves the mountains and hiking, the creativity of cooking, and sharing a glass of wine and quiet conversation with friends.

John McKay, TCS North America

John McKay

PCC

TCS North America

  • John began his career in the energy services industry in Calgary and the United States before moving into executive search, where he partnered with senior leaders and boards globally and led the Global Energy Practice for his firm.

Across his search career, he became known for the rigor he brought to understanding what leaders and teams actually needed to perform—going beyond role requirements to the dynamics, alignment, and conditions required for teams to operate at a higher level.

Today, John works as an executive and team coach, partnering with CEOs and leadership teams to strengthen how they think, work, and engage together.

He works directly with leaders and their teams to surface what is getting in the way, challenge limiting patterns, and create the conditions for more open, honest conversations and stronger alignment at the top.

His approach is direct, intuitive, and grounded in experience. He listens closely, observes what others miss, and helps teams address the real issues that impact performance.

John’s sweet spot is working with senior leaders and their teams, as well as in one-to-one coaching, helping them deepen self-awareness, strengthen team effectiveness, and deliver at a higher level.

He was instrumental in bringing TCS to North America and works with Mary Morand as part of the firm.

Caroline has worked with leaders and teams across different industries, and her sweet spot is with clients who are available to learn and grow.

She's passionate about human development and finds joy in supporting people as they discover new possibilities of being.

Caroline Duffy

AC Accredited Professional Executive Coach, AC Accredited Master Team Coach

TCS Ireland

  • Caroline has 30 years of experience in leadership development, organisational dynamics and experiential coaching.

She's known for her calm, grounded presence and her ability to create psychologically safe yet stretching spaces where real conversations can happen.

Caroline's work blends Gestalt principles, systemic awareness and a deeply relational approach, helping teams see the patterns shaping their performance, reconnect to purpose and shift from functional silos to true collective leadership.

Her coaching is immersive and honest — not about performance polishing, but deep, inside-out development that strengthens relationships, unlocks better decisions and builds leadership that lasts.

With teams, Caroline deepens cohesion, sharpens dialogue and aligns decisions so they collaborate more bravely and lead with greater impact.

With individual leaders, she offers a space to slow down, reflect deeply and disrupt patterns that no longer serve.

Caroline has worked across financial services, technology, professional services, pharmaceutical, healthcare, public sector and higher education, supporting post-merger integration, culture change, restructuring and new team formation.

Together with Jen Camption, she spear heads TCS Ireland and works with the coaching community across that region and throughout Europe, hosting community events and delivering programmes.

Caroline is currently completing her Diploma in Coaching Supervision.

Jen Campion

PCC, Senior Practitioner with the EMCC

TCS Ireland

  • Jen is an Executive and Team Coach with a background in strategy and organisational change.

Before setting up her coaching practice, she gained extensive leadership experience leading large change programmes as a Director in EY's People Consulting Practice and as Head of Strategy and Business Planning at Tesco Ireland.

Her experience spans health, finance and utilities in the Irish public sector, and pharma and retail in global, multicultural contexts.

Jen brings a behaviour-focused, experiential approach to her work with leaders and teams navigating complexity and transformation.

Clients value the balance of warmth and edge she brings, creating the trust and stretch needed for honest dialogue, courageous learning and lasting growth.

Her practice is grounded in Gestalt, which for Jen is about slowing down, paying attention and creating the conditions for conscious shifts in how teams work together.

She values Gestalt's emphasis on awareness and presence as the foundation for real, sustained change rather than quick fixes. This perspective helps teams see the system they're part of and make lasting shifts in how they work.

Jen holds an MSc in Executive & Business Coaching, a Diploma in Team Coaching and a postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Gestalt.

Together with Caroline Duffy, she spearheads TCS Ireland delivering programmes and community events for TCS and supporting the Team Coaching Community.

Kelly Drewery, Head of Corporate Delivery

Kelly Drewery

Head of Corporate Delivery

  • Kelly started her career as a psychologist in policing. Initially fascinated by criminal psychology, she quickly realised that what really intrigued her was the relationship officers had with their jobs and teammates.

Since then, she's grown as a business psychologist, working in hundreds of organisations striving to become great places to work and supporting people through large-scale transformations.

Across all her work, Kelly noticed that all roads led back to team development. To her, lasting organisational transformation happens one team mindset at a time.

Team coaching supports our desire to generate shared meaning, boosts our ability to create 'the new', and helps us get stuff done together.

Kelly's sweet spot is working with teams through organisational change, particularly mid-to-senior level managers wearing many hats with demands from all directions.

She coaches these managers as teams, in peer groups or individually to acknowledge overwhelm, navigate uncertainty and stay true to their identity along the way.

At Team Coaching Studio, Kelly supports corporate training and engagements, helping organisations bring emergent team coaching into their context.

Kelly loves hiking through different landscapes and experiencing different cultures. She values exploring the social systems we create as communities and how we include each other.

She shares a love of Lego with her three young kids, who teach her daily about how much play and stories matter to how we make sense of the world.

Carol Fogarty, Community Lead

Carol Fogarty

PCC

Community Lead

  • Carol discovered her love of contributing to others' growth and her curiosity about how people think, act, react and interact more than 20 years ago.

In 2007, she left her corporate role to set up a coaching business and has worked in one-to-one coaching, coach training and team coaching ever since.

Many parts of Carol's life journey have informed her practice today.

She's experienced the fire of senior commercial leadership in two global FMCG organisations and as a business owner.

She's competed in UK top-level volleyball and led expeditions in Africa for a youth charity, experiencing the roller coaster of environmental, physical, relational and psychological extremes.

All of her experiences have taught her what it means to be part of teams in all their forms.

Carol brings her whole energetic self and conversational style to her work.

She feels things deeply and intuitively, which is both her strength and her guide. For teams, she focuses on promoting deeper human connection and raising awareness of the importance, potential and rewards of connecting, collaborating and co-creating for the greater good of their ecosystem.

Carol has been pivotal in shaping our closed online community for committed team coaches and regularly hosts the community's Practice in the Arena sessions.

She holds a degree in Psychology alongside certified NLP, ICF and Team Coaching qualifications.

She lives in North Hampshire with her husband, two teenage children and a large white fluffy dog, all of whom remind her not to take life too seriously.

Team sport remains a constant: she chairs and plays for a local volleyball club and coaches adults and children in volleyball and football. When she gets a spare moment, she loves to meditate, read and catch up with friends.
