Louise has been supervising individuals and groups for ten years and is an accredited coach supervisor with the Association for Professional Executive Coaching and Supervision (APECS). She has a doctorate in coaching and mentoring from Oxford Brookes University and her research was on how supervisees can get the most from their coaching supervision.
Louise believes that supervision needs to be supervisee-led. She approaches supervision as adult-to-adult learning partnerships and sees the process as enabling coaches to be the best that they can be.
Louise creates safe and trusting relationships where coaches feel at ease to bring what is going well and where they are feeling more vulnerable and would like support. She has regular supervision on her supervision and belongs to the Global Supervisors’ Network which offers monthly CPD sessions.
Louise has been coaching for over 20 years and is a Partner at Praesta. She works as an executive coach, carrying out team, group and individual coaching. Louise has an MA in Professional Coaching from Middlesex University and has completed the Team Coaching Studio’s Diploma programme.
