How to have more transformational team coaching by contracting effectively!
Mastery in coaching is about working in full partnership with our clients co-creating the whole journey and each step along the way, and regularly checking whether we are on track. As coaches, we know the importance of contracting well. However, in team coaching supervision, we often discover that issues come from a lack of clear, thorough, ongoing contracting.
There is so much complexity when working with teams because each team member’s experience, awareness and needs are naturally different. To get a good outcome in team coaching, all these individual experiences need to come together for the team to have one figure (topic, theme, goal) around which they collectively focus, make meaning and take action. This holds for the entire coaching engagement as well as for each single coaching session.
If you get off on the wrong foot, then it is easy to drown in an ocean of complexity, and it can be hard to get back on track.
Join Georgina Woudstra & Allard de Jong in a deep dive into the art of contracting in team coaching.
