Helen Askey from Orange Pip Consulting, who was one of the group members commented “Exploring TA concepts, meaning and application with a great group of coaches helped me to deepen my knowledge. This week was focused on two sets of learning: the first being the learning I can share with clients, of which I gained and now have in an abundance. The richness was in the second learning – the learning about me that helps me to reflect and grow my practice as a coach and educator. I have gained insights and appreciation of my makeup, my triggers and behaviors which will contribute to my self-awareness and choices.  I had a fabulous and worthwhile week.

Carroll Macey from MC2 went on to add; “The TA retreat was a wonderful immersion in Transactional Analysis from an integrated perspective. Georgina explains TA in a way that made the concept easy to digest, to recall and to practice. The experience is not an academic one it is, as is Georgina’s style, one that enables everyone to authentically bring TA into their work as coaches. I am very inspired to deepen the learning and look forward to attending more retreats with ECS.

Bob Shearer from Hvarth Consulting said; “The retreat was an intense exploration of a handful of key TA concepts. TCS’s trade mark emphasis on making the learning experience a practical, pragmatic and personal one shone through strongly all week. We were invited to create meaning for ourselves, think about how we would apply the concepts and tools we played with. This signature approach to learning generated a steady stream of personal insights for everyone in the group. I left the retreat with a much deeper understanding of TA as well as some of my own values, beliefs and motivations. I also have a shopping list of things I’m motivated to explore further to help me understand more about why I do some of the things I do.

For Catherine Midgley from The Positive Approach to Development,  the TA retreat offered  A wonderful opportunity to develop self-awareness and self-understanding together with practical tools to use with clients to deepen their self-insight.  The content was rich, the process was flowing, the facilitation supportive and the group were delightful companions on the learning journey.

Exploring TA concepts, meaning and application with a great group of coaches helped me to deepen my knowledge. Added Annie Bennett, Tandem Consulting.  Annie went on to say; “This week was focused on two sets of learning: the first being the learning I can share with clients, of which I gained and now have in an abundance. The richness was in the second learning – the learning about me that helps me to reflect and grow my practice as a coach and educator. I have gained insights and appreciation of my make-up, my triggers and behaviours which will contribute to me self-awareness and choices. A fabulous and worthwhile week”.

We are now planning our next TA retreat to take place on 10-14th April 2019.  We are also planning a Gestalt retreat to take place on 4-8th November 2019. (Venue and pricing for both is still to be confirmed).
