Cancellation and Transfer Policy

You are team coaches – aspiring or experienced – and so you are more mindful than most of the importance of honouring commitments to your team, your cohort and to yourself.

We are a business, and, like any business, we have commitments to our staff, our faculty and those who set aside their time and money to take part in our programmes.

We don’t subscribe to a sausage-factory approach. Instead, we provide meaningful, experiential learning in safe, small groups. If you transfer or cancel, this has a big impact on the headcount in any cohort and may mean that a programme can’t run at all.

But also, we are all human: life happens and sometimes plans need to change. With this in mind, we have cancellation policies in place that aim to balance the needs of your cohort, our people and you. These vary from course to course, so please refer to the section that applies to your course.

Please do keep these policies in mind before signing up to our programmes and take a little extra time to consider cancellation and transfer requests – especially last-minute ones – as these may mean we have to cancel a programme for an entire cohort.


Who our Cancellation and Transfer policy applies to

Our Cancellation and Transfer policy applies to applicants and attendees on TCS courses and events. It is subject to the terms laid out in our Terms and Conditions. Unless otherwise stated, the information on this page applies to cancellation and transfer requests made by participants on TCS courses, programmes and events.


1. The TCS Annual Retreat (face-to-face event)

The cost of the TCA Annual Retreat does not include accommodation. Participants must arrange their own accommodation (if required) and that will be subject to the terms and conditions of the provider of the accommodation.
1.1 Course Confirmation
The running of the TCS Annual Retreat is subject to minimum numbers. Team Coaching Studio will confirm that the programme is running no less than 60 days before the date of the first session.
1.2 Cancellation refunds
  • More than 90 days’ notice before the start date: 100% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 60 to 90 days’ notice before the start date: 75% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 30 to 59 days’ notice before the start: 50% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 30 days’ notice: 0% refund.
1.3 Costs for transferring to another programme (if available and subject to our discretion)
  • More than 90 days’ notice: no cost.
  • 60 – 90 days’ notice: 25% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 30 – 59 days’ notice: 50% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 30 days’ notice before the induction date: 75% of deposit or fees paid.

1.4 Costs for transferring registration to a different applicant

A 250 UK pound cost is applied to administer the transfer of any registration.


2. Team Coaching Diploma (live online learning)

2.1 Course Confirmation

The running of the Team Coaching Diploma is subject to minimum numbers. Team Coaching Studio will confirm that the course is running no less than 30 days before the date of the induction.

2.2 Cancellation refunds

  • More than 90 days’ notice before the induction date: 100% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 90 to 61 days’ notice before the induction date: 75% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 60 to 30 days’ notice before the induction date: 50% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 30 days’ notice before the induction date: 0% refund.

2.3 Costs for transferring to another Diploma course (if available and subject to our discretion).

  • More than 60 days’ notice before the induction date: no cost.
  • 30 to 60 days’ notice before the induction date: 25% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 30 days’ notice before the induction date: 50% of deposit or fees paid.

2.4 Costs for transferring registration to a different applicant

A 250 UK pound cost is applied to review the application for any proposed transfer of registration.


3. Team Coaching Certificate (blended learning)

3.1 Course Confirmation

Upon payment, participants will be given immediate access to Module 1 – Team Coaching Fundamentals (self-study online). 

The running of Module 2 (live online learning) is subject to minimum numbers. Team Coaching Studio will confirm that Module 2 for the applicant’s selected cohort is running no less than 15 days before the date of the first session.

3.2 Cancellation refunds

  • More than 60 days’ notice before the start date of Module 2: 100% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 30 to 60 days’ notice before the start date of Module 2: 75% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 15 to 29 days’ notice before the start date of module 2: 50% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 15 days’ notice: 0% refund.

If at cancellation the participant has accessed any of the content of Module 1 OR has had access to module 1 for more than 15 days, the cost of module 1 will be non-refundable. The above cancellation terms will then apply to the balance of fees paid.

3.3 Costs for transferring to another Module 2 cohort (if available and subject to our discretion).

  • More than 30 days’ notice: no cost.
  • 15 – 30 days’ notice: 25% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 15 days’ notice: 50% of deposit or fees paid.

3.4 Costs for transferring registration to a different applicant

A 125 UK pound cost is applied to administer the transfer of any registration.


4 Certificate in Team Coaching Summer School

4.1 Course Confirmation

The running of the summer school is subject to minimum numbers. Team Coaching Studio will confirm that the programme is running no less than 15 days before the date of the first session.

4.2 Cancellation refunds

  • More than 60 days’ notice before the start date: 100% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 30 to 60 days’ notice before the start date: 75% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 15 to 29 days’ notice before the start: 50% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 15 days’ notice: 0% refund.

4.3 Costs for transferring to another programme (if available) and subject to our discretion)

  • More than 30 days’ notice: No cost.
  • 15 – 30 days’ notice: 25% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 15 days’ notice: 50% of deposit or fees paid.

4.4 Costs for transferring registration to a different applicant

A 125 UK pound cost is applied to administer the transfer of any registration.


5. Ways of Thinking About Systems for Team Coaches

5.1 Course Confirmation

The running of Ways of Thinking about Systems for Team Coaches is subject to minimum numbers. Team Coaching Studio will confirm that the programme is running no less than 15 days before the date of the first session.

5.2 Cancellation refunds

  • More than 60 days’ notice before the start date: 100% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 30 to 60 days’ notice before the start date: 75% of deposit or fees paid.
  • 15 to 29 days’ notice before the start: 50% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 15 days’ notice: 0% refund.

5.3 Costs for transferring to another programme (if available and subject to our discretion)

  • More than 30 days’ notice: no cost.
  • 15 – 30 days’ notice: 25% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 15 days’ notice: 50% of deposit or fees paid.

5.4 Costs for transferring registration to a different applicant

A 125 UK pound cost is applied to administer the transfer of any registration.


6. Introduction to Team Coaching

6.1 Course Confirmation

The running of Introduction to Team Coaching is subject to minimum numbers. Team Coaching Studio will confirm that the programme is running no less than 2 working days before the start time of the session.

6.2 Cancellation refunds

  • More than 30 days’ notice before the start date: 100% of fees paid.
  • 15 to 30 days’ notice before the start date: 75% of fees paid.
  • 7 to 14 days’ notice before the start: 50% of fees paid.
  • Less than 7 days’ notice: 0% refund.

6.3 Costs for transferring to another programme (if available and subject to our discretion)

  • More than 30 days’ notice: no cost.
  • 7 – 30 days’ notice: 25% of deposit or fees paid.
  • Less than 7 days’ notice: 50% of deposit or fees paid.

6.4 Cost of transferring registration to a different applicant

There is zero cost for transferring your registration to a different applicant.
